After a complete analysis and understanding of CGP’s ability to create efficiencies of scale by consolidating production efforts and services, the company entrusted their business to us. CGP reined in all of the multiple department printing and fulfillment needs under one roof: everything needed to market, train, or operate their stores. Some items were printed in bulk and stored until needed, while others were printed on demand, depending on the most cost-effective strategy. CGP set up a dedicated call center and web portal to streamline and centralize all location orders and invoicing. Multiple levels of user access were created to conform to internal company protocol.
By bringing in all of their departments’ printing, storage, and fulfillment and distribution needs under one roof, cost savings were immediate. The costs of shipping and receiving between vendors were non-existent. The elimination of a middleman broker’s mark-up costs significantly impacted savings. Economies of scale were quickly realized. Freight charges dropped dramatically. Turnaround time on each store’s needs shortened considerably, increasing their productivity and profitability. Brand and quality control skyrocketed with everything under one roof. Today, hundreds of daily orders are produced, kitted, and shipped for them. After many years, the company continues to leverage CGP’s production, storage, and fulfillment services to meet their needs, both strategically and financially.
